me and my pookie (my bff) went to watch Superman yesterday and it WAS SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. The commentary was amazing and it is very relevant to what is happening in the world. SPOILERS ‼️‼️‼️ When they killed MALI i CRIED a bit, he was so sweet and tried to reassure Superman that no one would miss him😭😭😭 MY SHAYLAAA. When Luther calls Superman an ‘alien’ and he says that he’s a person with feelings, that loves, that has dreams etc. It might be me being ‘too woke’ but it can also be a commentary on how so many ppl view illegal immigrants or ‘aliens’ as other, but they are people, who love, who dream, who are HUMAN most importantly.
I really like the film and what it stood for, recession indicator movies MEANING SOMETHING AGAIN. If yall haven’t gone to watch it PLEASE DO. I didn’t even like DC like that but if they keep making movies with meaning and with good story telling i might start fw DC. YALL GOT ME THERE lmfaoo. Anyways… LOVE CLARK KENT😩😩😩
