I find BBC humor ranging from slapstick level to the kind of sophistication that beats American sitcoms hands down, though such shows are harder to find. Monster Cafe is a good blend of understandable comedy, light hearted with some special effects, all the more entertaining because it centers on delightfully entertaining monsters.
