Gillovny Sightings: why are they so hard to believe?

There was an alleged sighting of David and Gillian on Monday early in the morning last week. Why is it so hard to believe? There are other sightings without pics that people believe without hesitating. I'm tired of this! When there are no sightings people argue that nobody sees them in order to deny their relationship. However, when there is a sighting of the two actors together these same people refuse to believe. So what's their point? Are they scared of the romance turning out to be true or what?
