Thank you @success.ship for inspiring this post. On the way to drop of our oldest this morning and the topic of conversation: Competitive vs Combative There are times we are told we are pushy. When you are trying to save a life, save someone's future, how hard are you willing to fight? How much of your effort do you put in? If it really pressuring someone when you're pointing out, educating on what is in their best interest and in the best interest of their families? It is hard to teach a main on how When we spur each other to complete the task and we do so in an effort that everyone does the best they can without giving up. We push each other so we know we aren't alone on the journey and there are others rooting for our success. Before ALL of that: we MUST make a decision to begin. We must take action and take that first step. Once that decision is taken: WE CANNOT QUIT ON OURSELVES, ON OUR DREAMS, ON OUR GOALS!!! The first 31 days of the year are done. Today is day one and the question is: what will you put on the line and do, take action on, that will not just make a difference, but will help FIX an indifference? How will you HELP RestoreHOPE into the lives of others by helping them do more than just go through the motions of spend less, save more...but will actually he'll then create viable life options because they are financially fit and their money side of life is taken care of? Spending time with @dcharlier8 kicking off the next wave in our #OperationRestoreHope. Over 350 associates will have the opportunity to complete the first ever SMD University hosted by #SynergyFinancial taking place over the next four months. How many of us would admit we don't know what we don't know? How would we KNOW we needed to admit it...We don't know! The reality is the #paradigm of success in life has shifted. What was the old paradigm? Go to college, earn a degree, work a job for 40-80 hours a week, work ones way up from hourly jobs to salary, have a retirement plan provided by ones employer through a pension or 401k (many parents upon hearing their kids got a job will ask if a 401k is part of the benefits, ha!), do this for 40+ years and retire at 65-70 years of age, and FINALLY get to do all the things we have wanted to do as a lifestyle: home paid off, travel, etc. When we don't know the rules of the game have changed we are severely adversely affected! What is this #ParadigmShift? Think about this: What is the new career? Build a business. The new media? Networking. The new education? Ones family. The new college? A mentor. The new healthcare? Wellness. The new neighborhood? Ones community. How have you adapted to stay #relevant in today's new world? What are you doing to to succeed and be a beacon of #HOPE to the people around you? Grateful to our mentorship team: @dcharlier8, #DavidDudley, #GaryWillis, @louisehaag11, @StevenHaag. Why? After yesterday's Super Business Presentation, today we hosted a special friends and family event for #Charles Gonzales, #Lucinda Olmos, and#JoshuaMorales, three of the five new business recruits who joined us in the last month. 12 guests, all impressed and interested in having us come to their home so they can learn more about: 1. The importance of time in relation to their money; 2. How to ensure they use the Rule of 72 to their favor rather than have it used against them; and 3. How to minimize their tax exposure by learning how to use tax advantaged savings accounts over tax asked and tax deferred savings accounts. What makes this all the more exciting? Watching our kids get excited as we go over how helping families places us squarely in the middle of two company wide events: 1) going to Hawaii with the cream of the crop; and 2) an advertising campaign that starts in Forbes Magazine and goes all the way to billboards in the community and on the LED signage on Times Square.
