On loose canvas. Signed on the back. The size and length of time and life are the foundation of my work. It's all too much to imagine. Even when we don't have to imagine it, it's all right here. Existing gets so loud that it a becomes a distant hum. With my work I try and capture the magnitude and stillness of it all. Creating an environment to be amongst it all in a way that allows you to take it all in without being overwhelming. Hopefully presenting the Universe without trivializing it.

Inviting the viewer, not just to look upon the elements, but to float throughout the world that is the painting. With that, I hope to allow the viewers to understand the magnitude and fragility of it all. I do my best to remove myself from the process, to make work that is organic and feels as if time itself has eroded everything, leaving behind what is most resilient and important. The remnants are left in full view, exposed under a harsh light, where nothing hides. Everything is there, at peace with itself and everything around it.
