"Can the real #DennisTheMenace please stand up!" Actually both are, most will be familiar with at least one of the two but they share a very interesting past. Both made their first published appearance on March 12 1951 in the US and UK and are regularly cited in plagiarism cases as an example of creative coincidence, no law suits were ever filed and their creators were happy to continue with his own works. While they may share the same name they are actually very different characters and stories.
