You know, if Daenerys really is pregnant then her behavior last episode makes even more sense.Ā š
Imagine being in the last leg of a war and knowing you have to finish things as soon as possible before the baby grows too big. Youād also want to ensure your own and your childās safety as soon as possible. As long as Cersei sits on the throne Daenerys wouldnāt be safe in Westeros so she has to finish things now.
Just check out her expressions in the scene.
0:48 - She almost looks teary eyed because she keeps being told she canāt target Cersei at the capital. Sheās not given other options.Ā
1:18 - Again sheās frustrated. Tyrion says to give the people time and theyāll cast Cersei aside, but Dany doesnāt have time for a siege that lasts several weeks to months.
1:40 - She quietly agrees even if she doesnāt want to. She agrees after looking at Jon.
1:50 - Sansa brings up time again, and Dany snaps about not having time to postpone.
Actually for most of the scene she seems sad, some shots she looks teary-eyed. This is not angry Daenerys. We know what angry Dany looks like. Sheās just extremely bent about time.
Then you get her scene with Jon.
Again, imagine if sheās pregnant on top of everything. She wants to know that theyāre okay. She desperately wants things to go back to the way they were between them and she doesnāt want Jonās claim to tear their relationship apart. She knows it will, and even more than that it puts her life at risk because people will want to get rid of her.Ā
When Euron kills Rhaegal Dany has every reason to keep attacking the fleet. She leaves to ensure her safety. Itās like in the last moment she breaks herself out of her rage and turns away for another reason. If she had just circled around his fleet, the range of the scorpions would be blocked by their own ships since theyāre stationed at the front of the boats.
EDIT: I also want to add that during the battle against the AOTD, when Dany is on the ground and backing up we see her reach for her stomach to protect it. The shot is cut off though, and whoever edited the episode used a different take for the next shot. Seriously, check it out. They cut away at the last second and then use shots where sheās not touching her stomach.
