All you want to know about Davidoff Signature Cigars
Introduction
"Time beautifully filled" is the brand philosophy of Davidoff, because Zino Davidoff believed in the importance of time.
The time it takes to create an exceptional cigar. And, equally importantly, the time it takes to enjoy that cigar. Time is simply a moment, waiting to be filled. Allow Davidoff Cigars to fill it beautifully.
Let’s take a look at what goes into making these amazing cigars.
Parts of a Davidoff Cigar
A single tobacco leaf that wraps the cigar.
Greatest care is placed in the wrapper, as it is the first part of a cigar that a customer sees. The influence on the overall taste can be up to 30%.
A single tobacco leaf that holds the Filler leaves together.
Although not without taste, it is normally the part that has the least influence on the cigar.
It's the heart of every cigar and usually consists of three types of tobacco leaf.
The Filler is responsible for about 60-70% of the overall taste
Types of Filler
Long-Filler cigars are made of complete tobacco leaves and are, with very few exceptions, completely manufactured by hand.
Medium-Filler cigars use tobacco pieces from the Long-filler production and hall or entire tobacco leaves depending on the ring gauge. These pieces had the highest quality tobacco too, but had to be cut in the process of producing long-filler cigars.
Short-filler cigars are constructed of shredded tobacco and are completely machine-made. They burn faster than a long-or a medium-filler, which results in a shorter smoking time.
