David's Reflection
My experiences as a student in Making were great because I learned a plethora amount of things. I learned to use handsaws, drills, learned to sew and solder and work with computers and arduinos. We build chairs that we painted, we made vision wands (making words appear on a stick using arduinos and LED lights), and build a redwood bench that is now sitting outside our school by a tree. I had never imagined building something like a bench or chair but after this class I was able to do this. My peers and I had came up with our own design for the bench that was constantly being changed and by the ending we found that our design was a lot different then what we first had planned. I am really glad that I was a part of this class and definitely enjoyed my time in Making as I had gained a lot from being in the class. I have become more creative, was finally able to make my own project, and have learned new skills that will be useful later in life.
