Questions
If you could be any animal, what would it be? This is tough. Part of me really, really wants to say some sort of bird, because owls and ducks are my favorite and huzzah flying! But really, I'm sort of scared of heights and falling, so I might end up being the world's worst bird if it turns out that the ability to fly doesn't cure me of that. So if not a domesticated owl with a very, kind, concerned owner who is pretty ok with me NOT flying (which basically doesn't exist...) I think...I'd like to be a dog. Really, dogs are awesome. People love dogs. Dogs love unconditionally. They sort of get the best of everything. Sleep on beds, people feed you, you can cuddle by your human and feel safe and make them feel safe. It would be like being a little animal full of love. That'd be pretty sweet. Owl or dog. What a choice.
Cats or Dogs? Dogs! See previous answer :p I've got nothing against cats. They're cute. But I think I am ultimately a dog person.
Worst job you ever had? Oh my goodness. A few summers in high school I worked at this really crappy little kid's water park. I didn't get to work at the water attractions because I wasn't a lifeguard, so I had to sit outside a ball pit that smelled like pee (I mean, the whole place smelled like pee, but this ball pit was the source of that I'm pretty sure), one of two bounce houses, or this really lame plastic boat ride. My supervisor basically hated his life and took it out on us poor, defenseless high school worker kids. Nobody who was at the park paid any attention to those of us watching over the attractions-we were all teenagers and they were either camp councilors or parents who weren't going to let some kid boss their kids around. (Seriously-the oldest one of us in any given year was seventeen. I have no idea how this place was legal. But I worked there from when I was 14-17 and nobody ever questioned the fact that there was only one adult and he was only every around once a day and that was just to bark orders at us.) The only time I ever liked this job was when it thundered and then suddenly we were all like BEST FRIENDS, BONDED AGAINST THE TERRIFYING ELEMENTS! and the night where all of the workers got to take over the park and break all the rules. Anyway, it was also a pretty crappy time in my life personally. And as far as I know, this little kid's play park has been closed down (probably because it was wicked expensive for what was actually inside.) so no one will EVER have to work at that torturous place again.
Favorite Spice Girls song? Here is a confession: I have never seen Spice World and was never really allowed to listen to the Spice Girls when they were around (hurray for overprotective parents!) I used to pretend though. I used to tell everybody I wanted to be Ginger or Posh. Yup. Anyway, I think the only songs by them that I actually can name are that "tell you what I want, what I really, really want" song and "Goodbye". So either of those two!
Do you watch Game of Thrones? You should… I don't. I don't own a TV. I could watch it online, but really, I think my aversion to it is that I tried reading the books and I just got so depressed!!! So I stopped. Not that sad things are bad! But at the time that I read it I had just left a rather depressing period of life, and I was feeling much better and I just didn't want to read about everything going wrong for everybody all the time. So...maybe someday I will watch it. Perhaps. Hmmm...
What kind of phone do you have? A samsung not smart phone that's blue and has a slide-y out keyboard. One of my best friends has the same phone. As does my mother. It's neat.
Are you fond of hamburger phones? Sure! Juno was a great movie, and hamburger phones are wonderful!
#1 castle you’d want to live in? Ok, so, I can't say I want to LIVE there, but when I was younger I had this fantasy of spending one night in the Tower of London. I wanted to see the ghosts. And scare the crap out of myself. But I guess that's not quite living. Can fictional castles count? I guess Sevenwaters isn't really a castle...but close enough? Maybe? I'd live there. Oh!!! oh!! Or the Neuschwanstein Castle which was the inspiration for the Sleeping Beauty castle. Sooooooo prettyyyyyy.....
Can you speak a foreign language? I used to be wicked good at Latin (gold medal on National Latin Exam three years in a row, and one perfect score! ...and now I shall stop bragging about my nerd-ery.) But I've fallen away from that. Here's one though: Mensa segunda mea flagrat! It translated to "My dessert is on fire". Thank you, Latin for all Occasions.
Do you want to be a Jedi? I don't think so. Though, it would be neat to wield a lightsaber. But really, I think I'm more of a Leia. Or an R2D2. I don't think I have Jedi in me...I need to be a bit more zen first. I'd probably end up a Sith :/
If you could pick any fictional character(just one) to turn into a “real boy”, who would it be? And why? THIS IS SO HARD. After careful thinking, I cannot pick one. I have a few. Bear with me. Peter Pan. Because, AWESOME. I guess he wouldn't be taking me to Neverland anymore though. I'm probably past the age limit (but not at heart!!!) But still. That would be AWESOME. The Doctor. Specifically Nine, because he is my favorite and I would run away with him aaaaaany day. Sort of like Peter Pan for grown-ups, I'd imagine.
But here's where the hard part comes in: There's a character that barely anyone's ever heard of named Ciaran. He's from a book series that I've loved since I was fourteen, though my crush on this character didn't start until a recent rereading-ten years ago, my pick from this series would have been very different! But he's this awesome half sorcerer and I imagine he'd be pretty neat to follow around for a day and have a conversation with. And then I can get to know him and all the darkness underneath. Except he'll never betray his Niamh. Ah, well.
