I received a surprise in my mailbox today! I got my Hollow Valley Tarot! This was a deck that I backed on Kickstarter and I was immediately drawn to it. I love the stark black and white look of this deck so much. At first, I was worried about all of the symbols on the deck and being able to read the deck intuitively but it draws you in and asks you to sit with the cards and listen to what it has to say. It's very open to intuitive reading. The cardstock is so lovely and the cards shuffle beautifully and they are the perfect size. The guidebook is full of an amazing amount of information and draws you further into the cards. Each card was created around a spell that became a sigil that became the art on the card. The Hollow Valley Tarot really does feel like I'm delving into a Witches book of shadows to discover more about myself. You can tell a lot of thought and magic went I to this deck.
