4: Tell me about one of your abandoned WIPs. Why did you abandon it?

I got about 1.5k into a spice runner Poe fic that I don’t really see myself finishing. I liked the concept, but I decided that “Graceless” was enough for me in terms of exploring that background.

18: Do you feel like your work gets enough recognition? What kind of feedback do you like to receive?

I’m pretty happy with the amount of recognition I get, yeah. Sometimes I wish individual fics got more of a reaction but I know that some things will hit more than others. As far as the kind of feedback I like, it always brings me a lot of joy when people point out details of characterization that jumped out to them.

24: Which fic of yours do you wish people would ask about more? Why?

Even tho I’m currently slacking on it because of traveling + being sick, I would love to hear more from people about “Love You For A Long Time.” I’m really excited to share more of that world with folks and would love to hear the things that folks enjoy and the questions it’s raising for them.

1. what’s your favourite character to write for?

i mean, it’s a toss-up between buck and eddie right now

idk i feel like i project on identify with different parts of their characters, so it depends on which things are emphasised in whatever i’m writing about?

7. what story/headcanons do you feel the proudest of?

an entire month later i’m still surprised that i actually finished my post s4 series, since i’m usually really not great at keeping momentum on anything longer than a 3-4k oneshot, so i’m definitely proud of that

tbh i’m also proud of everything i wrote for 911 week because despite the fact that i tend to have issues with consistency i managed to stick to it and write+post something every day

38. what story of yours are you surprised people liked as much as they did?

definitely vampire!buck and ace!eddie, both of those i was sure were going to be primarily for my own amusement and ended up getting way more attention than i thought they would

hello and thank you for participating in my 6:30am ask games! (yes, i wish i was sleeping. no, it's not physically possible because my body is a traitor).

📥 what is your fave fic to receive comments/messages on?

i mean... all of them? i'm always a slut for that sweet sweet comment serotonin

but to actually try and answer, i think either what is affectionately referred to as my buddie breakdown series, just because i put the most time and effort into it, or then once bitten, twice shy because i know what it's like to be starved for ace rep and i'm just really really glad and honoured that it seems to be hitting home for people

👖 are you a planner, plantser, or pantser? is it consistent?

nothing about me is consistent my dude

but plantser probably most accurately describes me at this point in time? like, half the time i just sit down in front of a blank document with a fragment of an idea and three sentences in my brain, but i did also just write a 3,000-word outline for a project i'm about to start

💻 do you do research for your fics? what's the deepest dive you've ever done?

i mean, i did just reread much ado about nothing so i could write an AU of it, does that count?

other than that, not really? i look stuff up sometimes, like details about canon or vampire lore for my vampire!buck AU, but not deeply enough that it could be considered research really
