"i drank it" (the entire scene) / "you breed with the mouth of a goat" (both from 5.17 99 problems) - don't you just love it when you're at the supernatural and the gay angel gets mean? like top moments of all time. the first one lives in my head rent-free and the second one is soooo endearing to me. also since I'm not going to list "the boy with the demon blood" line from 4.07, I'm in LOVE with the way she writes the cas-sam dynamic (also the fact that she's writing the cas-sam dynamic at all which a lot of writers seem to leave out, esp in the early seasons)
DEAN'S FIRST PRAYER IN 4.18 the monster at the end of this book - hi this one makes me vibrate the normal amount i promise i swear but . cas is REALLY breaking ranks for the first time. he is making faces (10/10 genuinely good job). dean is PRAYING. and he's rewarded for it (positive reinforcement also 10/10) plus they're meeting alone! at night!! the coloring of the scene is just !!!!! AAA
sam mentioning that he used to do magic tricks as a kid / "you ain't been had 'til you've been had by the chief" (from 4.12 criss angel) - ok help i KNOW these have nothing to do with each other aside from being from the same ep but. 1) i LOVE this detail about sam and siege is GREAT for sam rights and i really do wish that they actually used this information more ?? like sam pickpocketing when ?? but it is just [chefs kiss] flavor. and 2) top 10 moments that made me scream when i saw them also i can't stop thinking about that wiki entry that said he was the first lgbt character that didn't like die or anything and I'm just JIGFJISGJIERJGFDK
sam's health quake salad shake / the dean-sam dynamic of this episode in general (5.12 swap meat) - ok i LOVE this episode even though the second hand embarrassment just straight up kills me every time but 1) funny detail 🥰 2) so i feel like a lot of early seasons writers kinda romanticized sam and dean's brotherly codependence which makes sense, like that IS what the show was about, but this episode did not! and it has me CONVINCED that if she was a writer during the carver era, she would've gotten the chance to write some really interesting stuff about their relationship. also it's hysterical the way that dean just straight up doesn't notice that sam's been replaced like !!
when sam and dean confront chuck for the first time and they show him their trunk of weapons and he's like. hm! you guys are insane (4.18) - if you haven't noticed i pick a lot of funny stuff 😭but also this scene in general was VERY exciting like i love meta stuff so much cause it really comes at the text in this very refreshing way and it's also a bit of a reality check because like. yeah.... there IS something wrong with them
dean suddenly becoming faithful/a servant of god in 5.17 (CHILLS), dean tossing cas the pill bottle (5.17), Paris Hilton... (5.05), dean and cas having their little "the only two people in a room with four people in it" conversation (4.07), ALSO the boy with the demon blood even tho i said i wouldn't mention it, i wasn't planning on an honorable mentions section (4.07), i DO love the pov stuff with 4.18 as a whole...
