You guys ever accidentally make yourself? Like you're creating a character and only after you've already given them a personality do you realize "Oh this is literally just me. I accidentally created myself."

It's been a while but I have made some more art for Dawnglyph! I kinda lost motivation for a bit but im back in it now.

The next character I've made some sprites for is Berdly (MY BOYY). I actually did something completely new for me and made portrait sprites!

I originally only wanted to do a few but...I ended up going into Acute Berdly Overload and made like....30.

Here he is in chapter 1!

And here's his Chapter 2+ design!

It took me a while to get a design i was happy with and I still think he is missing something but as it stands im very happy with these sprites!

Now, i dont think I can post every portrait sprite I made, but i can show you some of my personal favorites.

Now, these are all post Chapter 1 portraits, mainly because I think they more easily showcase berdlys true personality, but that doesn't mean I don't have any from chapter 1...they will just be posted in a different way ;]

Maybe I should start posting some progress updates for my fangame project if i want it to get any traction lol. Will post context to what this game is later.

Here's some of Noelles sprites! Went through a lot of variants but I think I've finally reached a stage where im happy with them :D. Shes supposed to look like a queen or princess.

Time for a new Dawnglyph update post! Even though its Christmas I actually got a fair amount of small spriting done, and so can show off the menu alongside two characters.

A more up close look into Noelle and Kris' abilities alongside a small bit of flavor text for Kris. I should mention that this dark-world design for Kris is still a huge WIP and basically only there as a placeholder until I figure out what to actually make them look like. Still, below here is a closer look at the dark world sprite + their light world apperance! Which is actually finished and not just a placeholder.

Im gonna use this post to update people on the state of some of the stuff I've said i would do

The big Dawnglyph update post is a lot more work then I expected, I definitely overestimated my skill there. Its still being worked on it'll just take a lot longer than I originally anticipated

The Kerdly iceberg is probably the thing Im gonna do first, just because it seems fun to me rn. But considering all of the...stuff happening in my life currently it'll still take a bit

Recast By Freedom (or Do Over as it was called before) is also something im working on lol. I haven't done any updates on that yet so most people probably dont even know that this AU exists, but writing wise, its basically "done", and sadly thats the only part I can really do on my own. Im looking to get some art done for it and songs as well, and once thats done the first posts will be made. Im also planning on maybe allowing in universe asks ala Umbrashard but that depends on how interested people are

Freebird Theory is something im a bit mixed on making. I feel like I kinda missed my opportunity with it, because a lot of the points I was going to make in that theory have already been made by other Berdly centric deltarune theorists (of which there aren't a lot of lol). I was thinking of possibly making the theory, or atleast parts of it, part of the Kerdly Iceberg but we'll see

So, yesterday I mentioned that I would make a more major Dawnglyph post today. Now the thing is, I could post that today. Its basically already done. Orrr I could post it in a few days, with some extra visuals.

When should I post the next Dawnglyph update?

Post it today, with only the bare minimum

Hello! This is my Intro Post because apperantly people make those!

My name is Ender and I'm a. Writer? I guess thats kinda accurate, and also an aspiring Game Developer and biologist!

Im currently in the process of writing two different Deltarune AU projects created by me, one of which will also (hopefully) end up becoming a fangame! I will introduce these two projects as simply as I can below (warning: I am very bad at keeping things simple)

Dawnglyph: A simple Swap AU, keeping the basic story of Deltarune intact while changing the roles of certain characters. This AU is mostly inspired by the incredible Aethercrest by Moonster and Umbrashard by Rosaic. This is the project I am currently in the process of turning into a fangame. I am also its only writer, coder and spriter so...you can assume it will take a long time.

Deltarune: Recast By Freedom: Also a Swap AU although with some much more drastic changes to both its story and characters. Inspired by the AU Deltarune: The Other Puppet by Pepseeman and Lord of the Hammer by Moonster, this story takes place after the original Delta Warriors failed to stop the Roaring, seemingly causing the world to mysteriously reset. This AU is not planned to become a game but is currently my main focus when it comes to writing.

Any spritework, artwork, music etc i post here that wasnt made by me will, ofc, always include the person I worked on it with. So if no one was tagged, assume everything in the post was made by me!

I also just post random shit sometimes. No real logic behind it tbh so be warned of that ig.
