Day 7: Drip
Drew the Star aka Marceline but with a supportive father. Maybe a bit unclear but she killed Bonnibel since she has her eye patch. I'm in love with the fashion design of that episode and felt inspired by Victorian jewelry and jesters outfits. Sweet as Candy, the Vampire Queen strikes again.
07. Dripping? (Inktober 2023)
Despite how open and honest Arthur is, he really only shares a drip feed of information about himself. None of the Knights know when he celebrates his time spent alive; and in fact, all of them have given me conflicting answers on the subject. Only a small amount are aware of his fascination with golden things, and an even smaller amount know anything about where he came from. It would be impressive how little people know about the man if it weren't so frustrating! He's done so much for me, for the Knights, for his people… and I haven't the slightest idea on how to repay him for it.

anyway i decided i'd be doing Digital Saturdays for inktober just bc i have more time on saturdays + i wanted to spice things up. hopefully tomorrow i'll be back on doing everything on the right day
Day 7: Drip
For some reason coloring lips is surprisingly easy for me. Drawing the base I still struggle with, but for come reason the two brain cells I have left align when I go to color lips. Not quiet sure how that works.
But this one was easy for me to come up with. I wanted to make the lips bright red. I did first make a version with a close up of a face, but I think the lips came out significantly better, alone. Thankfully I am a layer goblin and put everything on separate layers, so it was easy to make a separate image of just the lips without having to worry about pixel issues. So for the lips and drip part, I don’t think it turned out too bad. The skin, though, needs some work. And it is something I want to actively work on, it is just unfortunately a slow and long process…
