might be treading walked ground saying this but night of wonders is a phenomenal mod. the amount of effort put in to make it feel like it belongs alongside everything else is wonderful.

even going so far as to add the voice acting, it feels like it could be part of a bigger act given the time and energy, and simultaneously it doesn't overstay its welcome. the magician is very charming as a character, and in the politest way, is also a bait to try and get a certain genre to enjoy them. not a fault in my book though. the munchkins are all so wonderful as well, and bring a lot of life to everything.

after finishing the level and collecting the time piece i found myself thinking about how the magician would interact with the rest of the game cast. i wonder if the mod creators will ever bring the characters back and give more of a chance to shine to this little idea
