The old man with many Marks was bitter with aged resentment. Many in the riverboat town knew his gold was plenty, but best handled with caution. An undercurrent of quiet rage slid just behind pale blue eyes as he dealt for his goods, his seemingly jolly demeanor known to crack at the most imperceptible slight, releasing the rank roil onto nearby casualties. The old man's eye was caught this day, however, by strangers in a small boat with a large, locked chest. Their clothes and manner conspicuously noted them as smugglers, a common sight in the riverboat towns so close to the 4-points. After securing his shopping on his bull at the rivers edge, the old man shuffled over and spoke to the men in hushed tones that were met with gruff laughs. The larger of the two reached out to push the old man's shoulder, but his hand fell short as a tendril of water violently dragged him and his partner backwards into the rushing river, their chest falling out of the boat with a large splash, somehow floating away despite its size and clearly heavy weight. The nearest onlookers quickly looked down, carefully trying to not be discovered paying attention as he leanded over and looked to where the men had sunk into the water before turning abruptly and walking briskly to lead away his bull down the rivers edge road after the miraculously buoyant chest.
day ninety-five- what a dumpster fire

day ninety-five.
describe the weather occurring right now.
well, seeing as how it's a quarter past midnight, it's quite dark. but, i looked out my window just for this. the sky is clear, and i couldn't see the trees moving, so it's not very windy. according to my handy dandy weather app, it's 59 degrees fahrenheit. it's supposed to be 70 and partly cloudy tomorrow, which means that it will probably actually be mostly sunny (perfect) weather.
