day three: favorite season: Summer
“And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again in the summer.” - The Great Gatsby
Day Three - Overindulge or Challenge
And we’re headed right into day three! Welcome to our third day of Nursey Week; where the prompts were Overindulge or Challenge. These two seem to be a bit more... challenging to work with if I do say so myself. Hopefully I can get the fic I wrote for today posted.
I wanna add onto this post; god bless Hals. Seriously. When I disappear from the blog Hals is doing all the hard work and there is nothing more I appreciate than Hals helping me out here. So, you know. Thanks <3

Chase Dalek
as seen in “The Chase” (1965)
Name : Chase Dalek
Other Aliases : Guard Daleks
First Appearance : The Chase (1965)
Latest Appearance : The Chase (1965)
Place of Origin : Skaro
The 'Chase Daleks' are seen guarding the doors to the main control centre on the Dalek time ship, other variants of this Dalek are seen on Mechanus whilst seeking the Doctor.
These Daleks were not intended to appear different to other Daleks. They are props hired for the episodes from the first Dalek movie - “Dr. Who and the Daleks” (1965). Due to them being taller than the other props, they had their bases removed along with the head lights replaced to match the others although they were given their original lights back for episode five of “The Chase”.
Solar Powered Warriors
as seen in “The Evil of the Daleks” (1967)
Name : Solar Powered Dalek Warriors
Other Aliases : Dalek Warriors
First Appearance : The Chase (1965)
Latest Appearance : The Evil of the Daleks (1967)
Place of Origin : Skaro
After the Daleks failed to successfully invade Earth they invented their own time machine in order to locate and exterminate the Doctor. These Daleks differ from their predecessors; instead of the disc they previously had on their backs they now have solar panels on their mid-sections enabling them to travel anywhere. Their bases are also shorter than before.
