The Killers: Day & Age (180 gram, clear vinyl, gatefold sleeve, Island Records, 2018) ▪︎ ▪︎ In Brandon Flowers own words, 2008’s Day & Age is a continuation of Sam’s Town “like looking at Sam’s Town from Mars.” ▪︎ Now if you work that out, please let me know because it’s double dutch to me 🤷‍♂️ ▪︎ Embracing elements of dance-rock, new wave and synth-pop, Day & Age is definitely a more pop oriented album, but that’s no bad thing.
