Day at the Pier/ Open
The sun softly glittered over the horizon, making the water sparkle, and dance in front of it, as sunset, slowly began to approach. Virgil leaned over the pier, letting himself be hypnotized by the moving water and try and rid his memories of the last few months. As the days went on, moving to Cyreus Cove seemed and more like the right move.Virgil was starting to learn that he was actually quite fond of the sea.It seemed scary at first, but something about seemed irresistible now. it may just be the overwhelming beauty, but to him, it didn’t feel that simple. He’d probably take up sailing soon.
The illusion didn’t last long. soon the smell of all the deep fried they sold at the small stands along the boardwalk quickly knocked him back into reality. Just the smell was too much grease for him. The loaner stater to stray away from the general public, and started down the path paved with wooden planks along the ground.Leaving behind the main tourist attractions while he strayed away towards a boat dock. It was much more quiet here, populated mainly by couples seeking solitude, just as he did so they may enjoy the scenic view in peace. and small groups of people that had just finished docking their boat after a fun afternoon out at sea.
Virgil walked up to a wooden rail along the boardwalk, and gave a small smile, looking out to steadily setting sun. Glancing at someone that had been along the same path for a bit.
“So I’m guessing you’re trying to enjoy some quiet as well? Or are you just following me?” He loudly mumbled with a joking tone in his voice.
