Beer review time!!! And I am so excited for this because I did not think we would get it. Present Drop Art! Yes I know that's a dope ass can by @moderntimesbeer. A saison brew with mango and orange zest added. Upon opening this...I got a crazy funky aroma that I have never gotten from a saison ever before. Tastes of funky like a sour (a tiny bit) along with the citrus of the orange in it rounds it off. Mangos aren't really there. Mildly carbonated to make to give it a nice creamy smooth mouthfeel to round it up and make this brew extremely different and extremely complex. A little less Funk and some more saison to it would be nice. I give this an 8/10 on the saison review scale. Could've done better and maybe not gotten some funk from it...but overall a well done complex saison and extremely creative which is why I love modern times so much. #dayenreviews #Saison #ModernTimes #DropArt #Mangos #OraneZest #Funk #SanDiego

Beer review!!! @saintarcherbrew Nelson IPL. Yes you read that right an IPL (India pale lager for some of you novices). And Nelson hops...one of my favs. Well anyways, right off the bat you get that amazing melon aroma along with some pine. Feels like a Christmas tree is in this glass. More crisp to it then an IPA would be and lighter (probably because they used pilsner malt). Clarity is crystal clear and it doesn't have the extreme bite bitterness most would get from this. Kinda of dry finish leaving the palate wanting more. I have had many IPL's in my life...but man this is crisp smooth and extremely tasty. Beer review time!!! Collaboration by @stonebrewingco, @odellbrewing, @marblebrewery...Megawheat Double IPA. Brewed with mosaic (which stone always uses), Motueka, and Mandarina Bavaria hops. Not overly bearing with the hop taste. Not as bitter as many of stones brews that they are known for. Extremely crisp and mildly carbonated. Not as wheaty as would most would think...cause it still has that overall IPA body taste and aroma. Overall it's a good beer on a hot day.
