Miscellaneous Black Haze characters’ middle names
In the English Black Haze fandom we don’t know the middle names of several characters since they were never mentioned in the series. I had a go at trying to read some of their names off the official character info post on the author’s blog and thought I’d share my findings.
This is an entirely amateur attempt (I swear I was actively looking at a tutorial to read some of them) so I may mess up on these, you have been warned. If you have any corrections or suggestions, feel free to mention them. 🙏
Yuhemen “Carolino” Kansiol
Took me like two days to read his name properly but it was worth it.
Dayner “Winnie” Artian
So cute~
Dirod “Ron” Artian
*I’d also like to note that his first name is read as “Dee-rod” and not “DIE-rod” like I'd been saying it (though it was a whole lot more satisfying).
Ibriel “Fontia” Hadelio
So the Marquis named his son Phon/Fon and his daughter “Fontia.” Aww, so adorably heartbreaking.
While I was at it, I thought I’d address a question that’s on many Black Haze fans’ mind:
“WHAT THE @#$% IS THIS GUY’S NAME?!”
To the best of my ability, his name reads as “eh-rooh-n”
Therefore, “Erun” is the closest translation. (Now, whether that is meant to be some other foreign name like Aaron or Allen or whatever is a different question altogether)
