Next Tuesday, October 15th, Granite United Way is hosting another Day of Caring for Believe in Books Literacy Foundation! This year marks the 27th year of Granite United Way’s Day of Caring events and this is BIBLF’s second Day of Caring! We are incredibly thankful for this fun opportunity once again! A Day of Caring is a day to give back to the community you love. Granite United Way hosts multiple Days of Caring throughout the state of New Hampshire and for the second year in a row, BIBLF was accepted to receive help from a number of volunteers with our largest fundraiser, Journey to the North Pole™! Our Journey to the North Pole™ event brings in over 20,000 visitors to both the Mt. Washington Valley and the Lincoln area each year for this beloved Christmas tradition. Volunteers will meet at the Theater in the Wood to assist with bell tying and gift set assembling as these are crucial tasks that are imperative to the success of our fundraiser. Volunteers are encouraged to help out between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 15th with lunch provided! Please help us make magic for the 25th anniversary of this beloved fundraiser!
