Let's be fans rather than "fangirls"

I debated a lot about addressing this, but I feel that I can speak for myself, as well as a few others, that we don't want this band to be treated like other "popular" bands.

Some bands handle this very well, but can you imagine somebody writing smut or other disturbing stuff about you? Jordan handled the pregnant imagine jokingly, but these guys are still new to this. This is a baby band. More importantly, they are people who go through a lot to make the fans happy, and the least they deserve is respect. Not just as a musicians, but as people. 

A lot of times, I feel that some musicians are disrespected as people. Their significant others (or just close friends that are mistaken as their significant other) get hatemail from young teens that are dead set on marrying older men that don't even know their name. Or, you're not a real fan unless you've been there from the beginning or they saved your life. Being a fan means that maybe you haven't supported them from the beginning, but you'll support them until the end.

People forgot that, outside a show, bands don't owe you anything. A thank you, at most, for supporting them. You are not entitled to a hug or a picture or a conversation (unless you paid for it) or meeting them before or after their set. They do it because they genuinely love their fans.

What I'm trying to say is to give DayShell the respect they deserve. When they think of their fans, I want them to picture loyal, loving, and supporting fans rather than rude, intrusive fangirls. Hopefully DayShell will keep making music for many years to come.

Basically, if you're going to ship or imagine or write fiction, do it in another tag, please.

How many members are there in the band? Is it just the three with two extra touring members?

Officially, there’s three: Shayley, Raul and Jordan. They wrote the album. Tyler and Sebastian are touring members, but hopefully they’ll be official eventually.

You kknow if there is the complete photoshoot of dayshell in some site?

No, I don’t, unfortunately! I know the photographer is Jonathan Weiner and I’ve been checking his sites regularly, but nothing so far. But when I do find them, I’ll definitely post them.

Thoughts about the livechat?

I thought it was a lot of fun, despite the disrespectful people bringing up Of Mice & Men and being inappropriate. Unfortunately, there will probably always be people like that, but we just need to be louder than them.

I saw a lot of familiar names, including yourself! I hope they do this sort of thing of every couple of months.

If you find yourself being bullied by 'dayshell' fans who claim you're not a true fan coz you 'weren't here from the beginning', be assured they aren't true fans. Ignore them. As expected fame will give rise to these trolls. Don't give them the satisfaction by responding to their taunts. A fan is someone who is positively appreciative of the music and the band. There is no timeline. You can listen to the music anytime coz that's the beauty of music. It's your choice. Whether you were there when Shayley left om&m, or you saw the YouTube videos Raul uploaded from his parents' garage or today is the very first time you're listening to Share With Me on their debut album, it doesn't matter!! As long as you stay true to what you believe and appreciate Dayshell for their passion, The Dayshell Family loves you. Now, just hold on tight!!  it's gonna be an interesting ride!  Woo!!
