A cycling helmet made entirely of paper and costing just £4 has been awarded a top international engineering prize.
The EcoHelmet is made from recycled paper that is woven into a “honeycomb” shape, protecting the wearer’s head from impact from any direction.
The folding, recyclable helmet is also covered in a biodegradable coating that makes it waterproof for up to three hours.
