@daytonsdopemuses liked for a kid Shikadai starter!
Boruto
“Boruto!” The six year old called his friend as he entered the Uzumaki home, his dad had just dropped him off so he could have some sort of play date with his friend. After greeting Boruto’s parents and sister with a smile, he left his dad talking to them before he ran upstairs to get his friend.

Death City wasn’t at all what Ash had expected it to be when he’d heard about it. He’d only been in this world for a short time, so he naturally expected a place with such a name to be a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
Imagine his surprise when he saw that not only was it intact, but stable and filled with (relatively) normal people. Granted, he’d been a bit on edge when he learned who was in charge of the city—the Grim Reaper himself—as well as what the local school was: a thing not unlike Remnant’s Combat Schools, except it taught “Meisters” how to wield “Weapons”, which Ash was even more surprised to discover were actually people who transformed into such.
Evidently, they were taught to hunt down monsters—again, like the Combat Schools—but with the twist of having the Weapons consume the souls of the dead creature. Unnerving, but necessary, as he also found out. Needless to say, Ash needed a while to just unwind and get used to this place...which was why he sat on the rooftop of one of the nearby buildings, reading a book he had borrowed from the nearest library, who were surprisingly but pleasantly unbothered by his animalistic features. When he questioned the librarian—an apathetic, mid-twenties lady who had the stereotypical “college dropout” look—she just shrugged, replying, “I’ve seen a lot of crazy things here, kid. You’re not the first weirdo to stroll in here. Now, are you going to check something out or not?”
“Weirdo”, obviously, didn’t offend Ash. Granted, the lady could stand to be a bit more polite, but that was his only real annoyance. Of course, as he’d find out quite soon, some of the other “weird” denizens of this town weren’t unpleasant. Namely, the one who padded her way towards him.
Ash yelped in surprise when he felt something touch him, recoiling and getting into a defensive position before seeing what it was: a small, black cat. At first, due to his now-calming adrenaline rush, he was worried, thinking that it was quite off that the creature had followed him up here. After all, he’d only just managed to climb the derelict fire escape. But as he calmed down, he approached her. He noticed the dark witch’s hat on her head, and almost instantly, his shocked expression changed to a smile. “Well, if you aren’t just the cutest thing I’ve seen in my life...” he exclaimed, kneeling down to the feline’s level and affectionately scratching beneath her chin.

Uh-oh...
Quartz took a step back, showing her hands as if to display that she wasn’t a threat. Which was true- she couldn’t beat Vegeta no matter how hard she tried. Not that she really wanted to.
“U-um... I...”
No. Now was not a good time to start freezing up. Struggling past her own hesitation, the little icejin took a deep breath, straightened her posture, and forced her own explanation out with fearful tears glimmering in the corners of her eyes.
“I-I’m sorry! I just... I escaped from Frieza’s army. An-and when I was flying through space, I saw this planet, and it looked so nice and peaceful, so I landed here hoping I could settle down and live a normal life... I promise I’m not here to hurt anyone...”

Those emotionless, blank eyes of his took in the sight of the female before him. Delighted at the fear he could sense coming from her. Odd as it sounded, it was bliss to someone like him. The monstrous saiyan didn’t move, he only stood there. Letting his overflowing power apply it’s dense pressure to the area around him.
“That’s it, come closer.” He demanded, kneeling down to try and meet her height. Which he failed at miserably. His size was just far too enormous to even try and seem smaller. “Heed my words, and I won’t have to harm you.”
It was growing increasingly difficult being close to him. Thoughts grew fuzzy and scattered, broken by the constant, heavy barrage of his immense energy. It was like an all-consuming drone, its heat bringing about a dizzying fever. Her eyes closed tight, jagged, thin strands of her hair tickled at her crinkled nose with each labored breath. His rough voice urged her closer, and more than anything she wanted to escape his energy. She needed cooler, lighter air, silence, safety.
The sound of weight pushing grass was weak and muffled, but it was enough for her to notice. Eden’s eyelids flew open, fear of him moving in to kill shocking her system. He didn’t rush at her, instead he lowered himself to the ground. His posture reminded her almost like a crouching beast; she was certain his intent was to jeer at her smaller size. The muscles at the back of her neck twitched, instinct pulling at her to toss her head in hopes to intimidate with her long horns. Thankfully reason kept her from doing so.
She watched the Saiyan, her mind turning the grim idea of following his orders. Her heart sank to her tumbling stomach. Survival through submission was what helped her eventual escape from Frieza’s pack of dogs, and now she had to play this dangerous game again. He could be lying, playing to her fear before crushing her. There was no other choice, and she knew it. Slowly she took a step closer, and then another, until finally she stood just a foot away from him. Her entire body shook now, the muscles at the base of her deer-like ears ached from being extensively pinned back. She swallowed hard, her head stiffly rose to meet with his gaze.

“Something the matter?” The King asked as he looked at the other. He wondered if he had done something. Though he’d only jut arrived here.

“Thanks Weiss,” Ruby smiled widely. “But seriously, you are incredibly sweet. I just wanted you to know that.”
