Part 1 of my series this year, hopefully side two will be done by the end of the year. Contains two collaborations with hot new producers Dazed Marrow (Night Out) and Crystal Eyes (Rain Down) amongst stuff inspired by all the post dubstep, alternative r&b and synth pop I've been cramming my ears with lately. Partly inspired by the idea of the mixtape in different contexts - a compilation of songs to give a message to a lover or a likeminded friend an in the hip hop sense of a calling card collection of material. Deliberately held some stuff back to recreate the feeling of an old tape (minus the very short track stuck on the end to fill dead space) - going to run with this concept.
