FAKE DATING IS WONDERFUL idk why I enjoy it so much but it’s fun. Also the whole fwb thing where they’re fuck buddies then one falls in love with the other and there’s drama and then later they end up together. Sweet, sweet cliche loveliness.
11. Least favorite trope/element/scenario?
Listen… I know it’s like the hip thing to think that Modest is evil in the 1D fandom… Maybe even the fandoms of the other bands signed by them… But can we stop painting them out to be some evil mastermind overlord company in fic because it’s really annoying and if I see it I immediately exit out of a fic no matter how good it was up to that point.
36. Do you like crossovers? If so, favorite crossover?
Y'know, I think it really depends on the crossover, but it can be done well. I don’t think I’ve read a crossover I really liked though tbh, I’d be open to suggestions.
44. How fluffy is too fluffy?
As most of you know I am a terrible person so if there is no drama whatsoever or the drama only lasts one chapter out of like a 40 chapter long fic, that’s too much fluff. I like angst and character development and you rarely get that when things are all peachy.

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?
I mean most of them tbh??? I’m also not like HUGE into shipping bandmates together for some reason though like I never have been in any of the fandoms I’ve been in but I think the biggest one would be Larry because like... idk they really haven’t had much interaction in the past couple of years (for good reason honestly the Larries are terrifying) so they’re kinda running off a ton of moments from 2011/2012 and it’s weird to me that that ship can still THRIVE so much off of just that when all the other ones at least have common interactions to flail over.
2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?
I don’t know how popular it is but I can’t see Nouis as anything but brotp idk IDK
6. Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?
YEP like I never really shipped Larry ever but I used to love love love their friendship when I first got into 1D? Like they were one of my favorite friendships in the band but I wasn’t even aware that there were such a thing as people who legitimately believed that they were together and even married (like wtf is that all about) until probably early last year? Maybe before that idk and just like... ever since then I see them literally everywhere and I can’t see any Larry things without immediately thinking about how the Larries will twist it out of proportion to fit their dumb theories and it sucks because I used to love them!!!
7. Is there anything you used to like, but now can’t stand?
Larry’s friendship like I mentioned before, I can’t look at certain things without it being tainted now. Umm anything else... I guess I don’t really like Up All Night like at all? There’s a few songs on it that I listen to but when my laptop crashed last year and I lost all my music UAN was the last album I re-downloaded because I just deadass did not care I think I had WMYB, One Thing, More Than This, and Moments and that was it for the longest time.
8. Unpopular opinion about [insert fandom here]?
About the fandom in general? Umm idk I guess I don’t understand the fascination with drawing smutty fanart? I see those sometimes and I guess it just kinda feels like it’s crossing a line, especially now with social media how people will repost it on like Twitter and Instagram and tag the artists or DM it to them. I think just fandoms in general have lost the concept of the fourth wall and I hate hate hate that. It’s fine to ship your stuff in your own corner, but when you start to involve the real life people into it is when I have an issue. Like I had a few people (LOVELY PEOPLE DON’T GET ME WRONG THEY’RE ALL SWEET) who were saying they wanted to show Harry my manips if they ever met him and I was like ???? no????? don’t do that???? Like I make my manips because I enjoy them, I enjoy my ship, but I wouldn’t ever want that to like cross over into the real thing because that’s... idk it’s weird when you look at it from the point of view of the artist looking at the thing, whether it’s manips, smutty fanart, fic, etc. Like I’m fine with it all (mostly) when it’s in the confines of fandom, but when its reach extends out into the real world is when I’m like no stop.
