Nines explaining ""what it would take for him to 'feel something'" makes me so happy.

I'm asexual (and demi-aro), and this made me feel so seen and understood!

I saw someone point out that Nines saying "it's against his programming" can be interpreted as how it isn't a choice and it's who you are and that's just really a neat way to do it. I guess the whole "Against an Androids programming" is a little cliche, but im not complaining, cause it works.

The way Nines explains that looks don't factor in at first and would want to connect on a more emotional level first, again, this spoke to me. I've never really been "attracted" to people - if anything itd be more of an aesthetic attraction - so hearing that he'd not look at someone like that until later in the relationship, just felt so validating for how I felt - especially cause when I first watched this I was still trying to find ways to "work out how I felt/what I am".
