Amelia sat in the chair, arms bound behind her back & tape over her mouth to stop her from screaming. The last thing she remembered before waking up in the small room was a sharp pain in her head & with the wet substance running down the side of her head, she was sure she was bleeding. She wasn’t sure how long she had been out for, or how long she had been captive but she was sure that someone from her department must have noticed that she was missing by now.
After all, she was on time for work, never off sick & with Connor & Hank being her partners, one of them must have noticed that something was wrong. She just hoped that they would figure something out before anything bad happened to her. She wasn’t sure who held such a vendetta against her but the one guess that she had was the red ice dealer that the team had been tracking down for the last few weeks. Was this their way of threatening her to stay quiet? Were they close to cracking the case & this was a way to stop Amelia from solving it? All she knew was that she needed was for someone to show up & save her, quick.

Alice was stood perfectly still, LED blue. She was awaiting instructions, from her new owner. She glanced around the room. She was meant as an entertainment android, so likely her owner was going to have her do something creative, but it wasn't in her programming to assume.

The android watched with careful eyes, hands folded neatly over the other as he stood there silently, waiting for some kind of order or for him to be useful. Buzzing bodies passing them.
After a moment or two, he spoke up and directed towards the stranger who waited as patiently as he “was there something you needed help with...”
Sleipnir - a SQ800 model has been selected for a very special mission by its Captain. Keep your muse safe from an unknown threat and eliminate the threat if necessary.
Sleipnir registered the home owner and house number as the person it was to be protecting. It’s mission was as simple as it was vague.
Primary Mission: Keep resident safe from any threat.
Sleipnir approached the door and knocked three times, loud and clear with plenty of space in between. It took the time to adjust its clothes. The black and white unforms worn by almost all city dwelling android left any place to hide. It offered no protection and did not allow it to blend into its surroundings, it provided little more than a number and a colour. Sleipnir could make out the glow of the armband and its own name and model number against the door. There was no hiding in this. Sleipnir knocked again, three more times before the door finally opened.
“Good evening.” Sleipnir started, a quick scan confirmed that the other was who the android was looking for. “My name is Sleipnir. I am the SQ800 model sent to protect you. I am on orders of Captain Winthers of the Military Unit 152.” Sleipnir asked the other as the android pulled up all the information it had on them, might come in handy later.

During the briefing of the mission that would span the remainder of their week - if all went to plan - a figure sat in the back, encased in darkness except for a blinking yellow light swirling beside the beasts brow.
The android stirred, only when the Captain spoke his given name. His eyes opened, the swirls of yellow become a solid blue. He blinked a few times, his name called again. “Yes, Captain?” The man called for the android to follow him, explaining that he was needed for something. “Right away, Captain.” The model rose, following after the Captain, finally they came to a stand still. “What was it you wanted, Captain?” The Captain finally introduced the android to the other - who he had not noticed till then.
‘Introduce yourself’
“I am Sleipnir. I am an SQ800 model, issue number 395-117-925-02 an android soldier designed to destroy the enemy, maintain any peace and defend the American people. I am instructed by Captain Winthers and follow on his command and in junction with laws and regulations of the American Army.” Sleipnir explained, his voice as clear as it was deadpan. The only fairly new part of this speech was the given name. As the Captain told him a bunch of numbers were no good under enemy fire. “Was there any particular reason you wish to speak to me?” Sleipnir could think of a few. He was currently one of a few soldier androids working within the forces, and working well with his human counterparts.

“I only got exactly what we needed - I didn’t get greedy. And no one even saw me!” Sleipnir started before the other could interject. It was dangerous, beyond dangerous - the main reason they had decided not to steal from Cyberlife to begin with. “If I didn’t do this then we would die. I had no choice.” Sleipnir stood his ground, lowering the bag to the floor. It wasn’t everything they needed but - it would do.

Sleipnir was aware that someone was on his trail for the last 16 minutes and 43 seconds from leaving the library. He took a long convoluted pathway around alleys, picking up speed, dropping speed, cutting through open buildings - all the while someone was quick on his heel.
Sleipnir rounded the corner and when his stranger caught up to him he grabbed them, pulling them in to the light and against the wall - not harshly - just to see them. “Why are you following me?” Sleipnir asked clearly and calmly. The android didn’t think he looked much like an android, then again - androids know one to look at. Many of them will say nothing unless it is their job. Sleipnir hoped it was a case of mistaken identity. He was getting too tired and too old for this shit.
