You might have noticed more activity on this blog again. After I said I was going to come back around a month ago. And then didn’t. I’m sorry? But we’re back. For now at least. (that’s a good thing)
I’ve recieved quite a few messages at this point from people thanking me for reblogging their work - they’ve gained followers, more attention, they’re motivated to make more. And that’s good! But you do not need to thank me!
We surpassed 3,000 followers a little while ago. And none of that is my doing - I don’t post any of my edits directly onto this blog. Which means every single follower this blog has gained is your doing.
It’s your gifs, photosets, edits, artwork, etc., that makes people want to follow this blog - so that they can see more of your work. So that they can find new blogs to follow or just so they can appreciate the great work you all create.
So please, thank yourselves. This is your doing - I’m just the middle man in the situation, passing on your good work to those who might not have seen it. Be proud of yourselves!
As always, I continue to track the tags #dbhedit, #detroitedit, and #dbhart as well as reblog anything that comes up on my dash that isn’t in the tags. If you see me “like” a post, but I haven’t reblogged it yet, it’s probably in the queue. Unfortunately, as time has gone on, creation of work for this fandom has started to dwindle, so the queue is currently running at 10 posts a day in order to sustain itself over a longer time period. So if it’s been liked, but not reblogged, it should be soon! Don’t worry.
Again, everything this blog has become is your doing. Each follower is your doing, each like is your doing, each reblog is your doing. I’m only passing it on. :)
**also, this isn’t happening quite so much anymore, but please, if I accidentally reblog a post where the content has been stolen, send me a message and if you can, tell me where the original post is, so that I can reblog that instead! We do not tolerate content stealers around here. You guys work so hard to do what you’re doing and I know how long it can take to produce content so I don’t want other people trying to pass off your hard work as their own.
