Dragon Ball Next Gen Week: FAQs

**All types of content (art/fic/video/etc) are welcome***

Are there prompts? Not this year. We’ve decided to spotlight a character for each day. Mon 19th - Trunks Tue 20th - Marron Wed 21st - Pan Thu 22nd - Uub Fri 23rd - Bulla Sat 24th - Goten

Can I use a ship? Yes, any ship that includes at least one of the six kids. However - all work needs to be suitable for work (SFW) and, if there’s a big age gap between the characters, the youngest must be unambiguously older than 18 (eighteen)*. Ships must not be incestuous, including where it would affect fusees in a fusion. We reserve the right not to reblog a work. Of course, Interpersonal relationships of the non-shippy kind are also encouraged, too!

*(This applies to (but not exclusively to) ships like TrunksxPan and BraxGoten and to save arguments, TrunksxMai.)

Does Future Trunks count as one of the main kids? There’s a lot of content out there for Future/Mirai Trunks already, so we’re asking that we stick to current Trunks. He can still be included, of course! Just with current Trunks/another of “The Kids” as the main focus.

Can I use OCs? Yup, as long as one of six characters is the main focus in some way!

What if I’m late or miss a day? Don’t worry, we’ll still share!

Can I make lots of posts? Yes yes yes :)! Feel free to stick with your fave character(s), too!

What tags are you using?

We’ll catch posts with #dbnextgenweek2021 or #dbnextgenweek, but Tumblr tags can be unreliable so if we haven’t caught it within the day message us. You can check the tag itself to see if it shows up in the search.

We’ll also be using the following tags for ships to aid searching and blacklisting/whitelisting, e.g.:

Can I tag old work to be reblogged? As we’re trying to encourage the creation of new work, we’ll only be reblogging work made for the week, old work that’s been updated or revised, or new chapters/pages from ongoing works that fit the week.
