"You called?"
Luke was still in a lot of pain but it wasn't as bad as it had been. He was sleeping a lot so he didn't have to feel it, and today he felt like actually talking to people. He needed to see Charlie, Wylie, Jackson, family and friends. Even though he'd been so out of it and not able to speak he knew how supportive and scared they had been.
"No..no..I swear I feel better. I'm okay."
Alright, then... listen up.
Julian stood in the center of the camp, near the fire pit with the majority of the campers within earshot. He stood firmly, looking at them. They were his people and he'd let them down again. Twice.
"We're implementing new rules. There will be guards awake and patrolling twenty-four hours a day, every day. I will take volunteers first, but everyone needs to pull their weight. No one is to be out wandering around after dark. It's clearly dangerous here, we need to protect ourselves and I cannot help you if you refuse to help yourself. I'm taking steps to eradicate these tragic happenings. Your full cooperation is expected. Any questions?"
Please leave me alone.
I don't want company right now.
Shane...I need to...speak with you
Waiting till day light she sought out Shane. After confessing to Julian about the exchange between them she felt like she owed him an explanation. Recalling the last time they spoke he requested her to keep it quiet, and while she never agreed she couldn't help but feel guilty about it.

Just... In a minute.
Luke groggily opened his eyes looking at the person who had enterted the medical tent curiously. He tried to speak but the pain was too much.
