If the make Astra Johns kid, I ain't gonna be happy, maaan. Don't do it, brrrrooo! Tbh, I'm a bit nervous over the fact that they made him friends with her mum in the first place because she's just supposed to be random kid of random phyco abusive dickbag who abuses her and she summoned a demon to get revenge on them n shit. ( John decided to summon a bigger, better demon to take down the one she called because we was an arrogant prick and decided he was powerful enough. Spoilers, he wasn't ) The only importance she has is she was an innocent never shown kindness and the few guys who tried to save her, failed her hard.
Edit: I am very much okay and down with to tuning the abuse down a bit because poor girl lived in a cage in an orgy dungeon under a theatre so yeah, I'd understand tweaking that a bit but not so much to during her mother into the story and make her a live interest! Someone said that the story could be Astra was trying to bring her mother back but summoned a demon instead and work it that way and I love that a lot but it still doesn't help that now John has a higher form of connection to her. It wouldn't fix it but it'd be medicine.
Tldr: I don't want the writers to put baby Astra in a cage but I also don't want her to be John's daughter and I wish he didn't know her mother prior
