Dick Grayson- Detective Comics #38 - April 1940- 85 years

Jason Todd- Batman #357- March 1983- 42 years

Tim Drake- Batman #436- August 1989- 36 years

Stephanie Brown- Detective Comics #647- June 1992- 33 years

Cassandra Cain- Batman #567- July 1999- 26 years

Damian Wayne- Batman #665- September 2006- 19 years

Duke Thomas- Batman (Volume 2) #21- June 2013- 12 years

Jason Todd/ Red Hood Timeline: Basic

A Death in the family- Batman #426-429 ( #428 October 1988 confirmed death)

We got dead Jason for about 25 years RIP my man.

Hush- Batman #617 (September 2003)

This is the first Jason appearance it’s where he takes the bandages out was intended to be Clayface but it was actually Jason.

It’s debatable you can go either way because it’s due to recon that it became Jason. It was not intended to be Jason.

Under the Hood Arc- Batman #635-#641, #645-#650, Batman Annual #25 (February 2005- April 2006)

There was a hiatus between #641 and then it going back into it at #645 but I do not think anyone really cares about the semantics.

This is the Jason, Red Hood bullshit, his interactions with Batman and all of that this is the beginning of Red fucking Hood!!!!!!

Nightwing Vol 2- #118-#124 (March 2006- September 2006):

Jason is Nightwing and also a tentacle monster. I’m not 100% confident I got that timeline right but it’s in that section…..

Batman Battle for the Cowl #1 (March 2009-May 2009)

Jason puts on a bat suite I feel like I should be included just because the question of when they put on different costumes and also it can be useful for the timeline. He really was not Batman very long.

Red Hood: The lost days #1-6 (June 2010-November 2010):

Essentially the origin story for his resurrection.

Pretty much, Jason is always Red Hood. We do not really get costume changes or anything in like a main continuity .

I could list all of his red comics I really don’t want to at some point. I will do like a whole every comic, but I have way more characters to get through for the costume thing.

Richard Grayson/ Nightwing Timeline

Tales of Teen Titans #44 (July 1984): First ever appearance of Nightwing this is the Discowing era.

(1984-1994): Nightwing exists in Titans comics and other stories (aka I’m not doing all that)

Nightwing-Vol 1 (September 1995-December 1995):

First exploration of him as a solo character, only four issues.

Batman #512 (November 1994) aka Batman Prodigal (November 1994-1995):

After Knightfall Dick is Batman and we have Robin Tim.

Nightwing-Vol 2 (October 1996-April 2009):

This is where we have everything! Why we hate Devin Grayson, No Man’s land, War games, etc

Battle for the Cowl Era/ Batman and Robin (2009-2011)

Dick is Batman once again after final crisis, we have Dick and Robin Damian.

This is Red Robin era all the fun shit.

New-52 (September, 2011)

Nightwing- Vol 3 (November, 2011- July, 2014):

This is all pre-spyral and the lead up to all of that. I believe this is where we get the court of owls.

Grayson-Volume 1 (September 2014- August 2016): Spyral.

DC Rebirth (2016)

Nightwing- Vol 4 #1 (September 2016- Today)

This is the current Nightwing run and where we are currently with Dick Grayson. 

I’m gonna do a series I started with Nightwing and I’m gonna do all of the characters I did in that timeline post.
