Actually, if I want to tie in all of Lyta Trevor's backstories, all I need to do is ship Diana and Helena

DC Comics' Helena Kosmatos, the Original Fury, holds a special, illogical place in my heart

[whateverthought]

I think, my personal Lyta Trevor/Fury backstory, i.e. the best way I can square her different Earth histories, is that Wonder Woman was a part of the All-Star Squadron during WW2 alongside Fury/Helena Kosmatos, a young heroine and part of the more teenage/young adult Young All-Stars.

When Diana and Steve had their daughter they went to Themyscira to show her mother, but there was an attack -something something Greek Gods/DemiGods/Circe- and Steve died, and Diana decided to leave her daughter with Helena and her husband, since the enemy knew who she was and could get to Themyscira, and was unsure she'd survive the fight.

Cue big battle, long fighting, and time shenanigans, and Lyta was raised the daughter of Helena, whose mental state had started to decline after the murder of her husband.

Diana comes back to Man's Land, but times have changed, and its not War anymore, for one, but just the technology, and heroes aren't around because that was a War Effort, and slowly they've started resurging but its different now because they're vigilantes more than Government-run teams
