My aunt and I were watching Whitechapel and I decided to draw DC Kent in a Tim Burton Style

Since I won’t be updating my fic this weekend, I thought I’d share this drawing I did some weeks ago of DI Boof and DC Pupper (the eager puppy that Sam always described Kent as) instead.

I cannot even BEGIN to properly verbalize how many more interesting ways there are to develop a character/relationship than making one of them maliciously jealous. Like, eye roll. Yawn. Reductive, lazy, boring.

I just think it would have been neato if the historical inspired aesthetic and half-anthology/half-chronological series vibe that seasons 1-2 of whitechapel had had gotten the chance to continue on… it would have been McFun.

If this show had been made in the now times (I can’t believe it’s been more than ten years????), I think things would be beautifully different.

And by “in the now times”, I mean “If I was in charge of it”, because GODDAMN you still cannot trust anyone who writes tv.
