It’s a stretch, but Stella doesn’t know the next time she’s ever going to be in this area. The Uber wasn’t too expensive, it being a twenty minute drive give or take, and she only partially feels bad for barely talking to him on the ride there. She’d opted for leaning her chin against the window, staring at everything they passed on the way, regardless of how cold it made the car. They’d been walking around for a little, she just wants to see everything, as much of a tourist trap National Harbor is. “You know, I’m still surprised you agreed to come here so easily. Doesn’t really seem like your kind of destination.” She smirks, hands tucked into the pockets of her coat, “I suppose I can check it off of my bucket list.” Which she started last semester as a way to be optimistic. She skips a few feet ahead of him, turns so that she’s walking backwards and can look at him. She’s feeling whimsical and excited and light. She nearly trips over herself though, and when she catches herself she glances up at him and giggles, only she sees something past him instead. “Oh.” Oh boy. Her eyes move to Christian, and then back to the monstrous, obnoxious Capital Wheel to her left, and then back to him again, sneaky grin sprouting. “Are you afraid of heights, Christian?” @christiantcrres
