First Watch Thoughts

Hey was that green car from the first Superman comic?

Hot damn Clark is just as capable

Is she going to turn herself in at headquarters?

Hmm I wonder if he is a Nazi

Clark can take them but it would reveal his identity

Oh she’s a secret agent, okay yeah that would explain the title

You don’t want to keep a duplicate file or get the police or someone more secure to take it?

Very much a lack of Supes and Lois in this Superman cartoon

This Gal can really hold her own against all the chaos

“Hello :)”

She’s gonna get grinded, but not in that kind of way

That’s one fancy elevator Supes is pulling up

That must be a very slow moving cog thingy

Couldn’t he have swooped in and grabbed her instead of pushing the bridge away

Yep of course it has to end with the American flag

Superman (1941-1943)

Review

This series is what I would consider the gold standard of what Superman should be, its action packed, beautifully animated and just feels right

Now I’ve come to a tough decision on how I should rank and score this show, if it was just Fleischer Studios then it would be 8/10, but since the second half Famous studios, is far too strange, poorer quality of writing and racist, and I can’t just ignore that, so I’ve had to bump it down to 7/10

But I would love to know what you all think of the series, and how you would rate and rank them
