Welcome to the World of Total Drama Arms Race! Pt 9: The Awakening, and the Kansas Kommandos!

The Reboot cast (which get their own little posts for) were miracles in more ways than one. And in a way, a burden for what they heralded. Noah and Heather, along with many of the contestants working for the Coalition, were able to not only heal their hearts, but grow back into the Heroes they were meant to be. Either through their minds once again awakened to what they should be, to mended hearts acknowledging their pains, to the weight of the world slowly being latched off their backs, those kids rekindled a chance for the blessed contestants, especially Noah and Heather, to become a beacon for humanity.
One, that was tested not only months later, when after a gruel trial for the seven themselves, they proved humanity’s worth, and begun The Awakening.
Thousands to hundreds of thousands of people begun to suddenly receive blessed weapons just like the Blessed themselves. Children to elderly, janitors to generals, criminals to peacekeepers of the Coalition, anyone and everyone was eligible, especially those who had the mindset and capacity to grow as people.
It was a confusing and terrifying first few weeks of course, many either unsure what to do or went to hiding, some even staged robberies or more egregious acts that called upon the blessed to intervene. But it simmered out when Courtney took control and opened up recruitment sites for joining the Coalition. And soon, the numbers piled up, many seeking to become the heroes that the Blessed inspired them to be, either through the fires of battle, the soul of the Magus Sect the hands of Construction, or the soft words of Empathy.
But the Coalition wasn’t the only one. For the Syndicate, Max’s faction the Maxwellian Municipality, and Izzy’s band of resistance soon joined in the hiring spree.
Now Noah, Heather, and the seven must guide humanitie’s true test of virtue, and usher an age to calm this tumultuous storm. For once it is done, and humanity ends up willingly united for a common goal.
Then, and only then, will the Legion face the defiance of this world.
