"oh no guy, Vermont said oh fuck no, we will NOT be deploying the National Guard to D.C. due to there being no need"
Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia in the past several days committed troops to President Trump’s federal takeover of the city.
“But in this case, because it is being hyperpoliticized, the governor doesn’t feel like — and I believe the vast majority of Vermonters don’t feel like — it would be an acceptable and appropriate use of the National Guard,” Gibbs said.
Surprise, Vermonters do not and will not ever approve of Donald J Trump.
biker kid, doing a wheelie in front of miette on the street: wheeeeeee!
miette, her eyes enormous: you threaten miette? you run miette over with your ATV? oh! oh! jail for biker! jail for biker for One Thousand Years!!!!
Imagine you live in D.C. and, like, Trump says he's going to deploy the National Guard, and you just-- like, not only is crime at this, like, 25, 30 year low, but, like, you just got to the point where you were probably starting to feel kinda safe on the street and now it's going to be the National Guard looking at you every day confused why they're there too. You know, people forget that the armed forces, like obviously, you know, soldiers are supposed to follow orders and everything like that, but the armed forces are filled with people of differing backgrounds and opinions and everything, so it's not as if everybody that ever gets deployed is excited to be deployed, and it's not as if they're well taken care of when they are deployed. You know, these people, they signed up to do a service for their country, I'm curious how they feel about being deployed against the people that they're supposed to protect instead of, like, against some foreign invader or something. --Josh Johnson

Two activist organizations in New Jersey have condemned President Trump’s takeover of Washington DC. The People’s Organization For Progress (POP) and The Martin Luther King People’s Convention for Justice and Resistance (MLKPCJR) both condemned Trump’s announcement that he would be exercising greater federal control over the district.
