I don’t mean to be a total jerk, but sometimes I am.

I live in a city where auras and alternative medicine and alignment of stars actually bear weight. It’s frustrating some days. 

Knowing full well this is a bit of a rant—or, in passive Portland, a rage—I wish I could so poetically extrapolate on the virtues of logic and reason in the same manner as Minchin. It’s beautiful, really. 

In reality, however, I take cheap bait and spiral into an ineffective tantrum of defeat more often than I ever should. Mostly always.
