@dcarhcarts gets a Plotted Starter for Susan Revensie!

There was something nice about working alone out in the forests of her homeland. It felt sometimes as if she was connected to it in some way. As if she could feel the breath of the wind in the trees, or the press of deer hooves into the land around her. Perhaps that was only a side effect of her mission today, but it still filled her heart with a wonderful sense of belonging despite being solitary as she combed the woods for fairy rings. 

At least, she’d thought that she was alone. But unless her mind was well and truly lost, there was another young woman searching the woods ahead of her. For what Jane couldn’t tell; in fact she almost appeared lost. 

“Miss?” She called, hoping she didn’t frighten the woman. “Excuse me, miss? Are you, lost?” Jane looked aound, but there didn’t seem to be a house anywhere around. “Do you, live around here?”

              “ i might just have to take you up on that. ” a delighted child’s laugh sings into the night as her eyes stay dreamy. then again, that was a permanent state for her. god knows how she ever was able to act mature for long enough to have gotten married and had a child. she lives through the actions of a little girl in louisville, not of an adult with grown-up parties in new york city. the summer heat lended itself to such a wondrous night, cool air from the water cooling the space just enough to keep the slight glistening on her shoulders at bay. “ is that because there are less lights to cloud up the sky ? i heard once that lights on the ground makes the stars less visible. ” she will not tell sweet nick that she has seen the stars from his side several times before, because it was not with him. besides, though she trusted her cousin so thoroughly, how was she supposed to be sure tom would not find out if she were to divulge her secrets ? they were friends from school no matter the shared lineage of the cousins, and she didn’t know which stream ran thicker for him.

“One LAST time--” Perhaps the prince was being dramatic. It surely wasn’t going to be the last time he would see the other. However, he knew that his DIPLOMATIC  reasons for being here were coming to an end and he would have to leave. He had no doubt he’d find some other reason to come back though, and that he wouldn’t be gone for long. However, he can’t help but DREAD the thought of leaving even if it was only a short while. He wouldn’t dare show it though. Instead, he held two glasses in his hand. Holding out the second class to the other. “Relax, have a DRINK with me.” He added with a grin.

@dcarhcarts is such an absolute delight.  not only does rose write so many different characters so well, she’s also so fun to talk to, and just a general positive presence in general!  honestly, all the thread we have are so much fun??  even when they get wild  ( because we’ve genuinely had conversations about which romanov kid would be easiest to kidnap, and tatiana may currently be getting kidnapped )  they’re always entertaining.  plus, she makes the most gorgeous promos!  follow rose if you love yourself.

i could take all day to rave about prue, and it still wouldn’t be enough.  @diiadcm is one of my oldest rp partners, from various blogs, and also one of my favorite people to talk to online.  she’s such a phenomenally talented writer, and honestly improves with every reply.   and her aesthetic is gorgeous  —  always 100% goals, i cannot recommend highly enough.  plus, all her original characters are so thoughtful and clever, honestly amazing.

@zharptiitsa portrays such a fascinating original character  —  not only does iskra’s character weave russian mythology into the lore of the firebird, she’s also such an interesting oc in general!  featuring wonderful writing and a lovely mun, i honestly smile every time i see this blog on my dash!

God, she hadn’t been in this much pain since she was a girl... The edges of her vision were starting to turn black. This was it... Maria was sure of it. At least she’d finally get to be with her family again. But she’d failed them... She couldn’t take down the bastards that took them away from her. 

Inhaling sharply, she dropped to the floor, trying to hide her wounds. “Go... The back way... Go. There isn’t much time. They’re... They’re coming. I’m not... I’m not losing you too.”

▬  NESA / @vnmfckr : i haven’t talked with nesa all that much so far but she’s the sweetest bean & deserves so much love !!  i originally followed her bc of her marishka since i’m Certified Van Helsing Trash TM  &  while she does a fabulous job of bringing this character to life, i also  really  fell in love with her ocs. she creates such interesting  &  intriguing characters  &  she does it so thoroughly with such attention to detail i just.  LOVE.  amazing talented spectecular show-stopping writing  12 / 10  would recommend  &  hype to the moon  &  back !!

▬  RO / @dcarhcarts : needs to do the world the honour of continuing the legacy of our dear diana wynne jones. i  LOVE  her howl  ( & her writing in general, obviously )  to bits  &  i’d read whole books written by her about hmc. plotting with her is both amazingly funny  &  heartbreaking at the same time,,,  DEFINITELY  the person who can kill you dead with deep analyses of your favourite characters.  [ insert  ‘ you will suffer but you’ll be happy about it ’  gif. ]  give me  ALL  the aus for our soft childrens,, i beg you. thank you for bringing dwj’s wonderful world to life !!

▬  HADDIE / @slahtiz : queen of my heart light of my life,,,  OBVIOUSLY.  haddie deserves a medal for sticking it out with my flimsy ass all these years. she’s probably my oldest friend in the rpc and in this house We Stan one amazingly talented writer who’s always here for everything from the crackiest trash you could imagine to carefully thought-out angst that will make you cry real tears. i love all of her muses; doesn’t matter if i know the fandoms or not, just  throw them all at me.  give me the weirdest combos. she can make it happen. A Star TM !!
