no but like I'm thinking about how Shinon is my all time favorite FE character, but how Dimitri is right behind him, and how the two of them could not be more dissimilar. 🤣 and yet my reasons for loving them are sometimes very similar.
I also would love them to meet and talk bc Shinon and how he lives his life and what he believes would be such a motivation for Dimitri as a leader for how to handle his country. Mitri would learn so much from Shinon's life and do his best to make sure nobody in his country has to live the same life or go through the same hardships. ALSO due to Shinon's beliefs I 100 percent believe he would get on with the Lions and I promise that's not bias, that's just genuinely based on (gestures) stuff he's said out loud in PoR.
I would love to see Mitri in Tellius tho tbh. Shinon couldn't be in Fodlan 'cause he'd end the war instantly with one arrow and it'd all be over and there'd be no other half of the game. :)
sometimes I wonder if I should change my URL. like. I still love dmcl yes absolutely!! but. the Tellius side of me, the Shinon side of me, has been very noisy! and while I feel like my URL is my Brand™ at this point (that's not meant to be a Tellius pun I swear), I also feel like I need a proper Tellius/Shinon rebrand bc I sat there thinking the other day abt how I am pretty sure Shinon is just. my all time favorite FE character LMAO. like. idk.
I think it's bc Tellius is my Home Base™, but I think that, even while Dimitri is still otherwise my big fave, that Shinon might have sneaked past him at some point when I took a fandom break. like. idk man. it's not untrue nor a secret that Tellius has my favorite FE games LOL but I think maybe it could be that the dust has settled since I've been away from Houses/Hopes for quite a while now and Dimitri isn't the character actively on my mind? so my natural preferences are more sturdy again?
like you know how recency bias is a thing? similar to that except Dimitri isn't not still my favorite, but I had time to sort my thoughts when I wasn't actively invested in his games. maybe they're even tied. but I think if someone asked me "who is your favorite FE character in the whole franchise?" my brain would go to Shinon before Dimitri, and I'd be more likely to go with him bc he'd be the less common answer between the two.
WEIRD RANT I KNOW BUT. I rly like this URL and I'm so used to it. but I think I want my blog to be more obviously Tellius bias lol. but I also don't know what I'd go with yet? so. we keepin' this one for now. ✌️

OKAY I've had time to let my brain function normally again LMAO.
so like. I admit it's gonna be difficult for me to focus on more than one blog at a time, and I'm terrible at being in more than one fandom at a time, as far as focus. I'm hoping that when PoR drops for the membership (since they announced it's one of the games coming at a later date/not at launch), I'll be able to split my focus a little to be around for PoR.
other thing is, I'm a fan translator now. I'm working on several projects on my own, but once those are done and probably also during those, I'll also be working on translation patches for games (meaning translating entire game scripts of dialogue), which will possibly push me into full time fan translator hobby status.
I will try to be here. I've had a break for about a year or so, now? and it's been good and helpful. I don't think I'll be returning to talking about Three Houses for a little while beyond Gautier fam stuff (bc that's a very small, condensed group and very outside the main stuff), if I even do that. not that I don't want to, but 24 hours in a day is not a whole lot with my hobby schedule LOL.
so basically, if I do come back for PoR, that'll be my main and possibly only focus. I hope those of you who haven't gotten to play it will be able to! I know the Switch 2's price point on top of a membership can definitely be a barrier. I really would love to have discussions again about PoR! I've had many about Houses/Hopes, but PoR still has a massive heap of content I've never really talked about, because most of my followers were here for Houses/Hopes stuff. plus, I don't mind rehashing age old conversations about the plot and such with a new wave of fans, or even longtime fans coming back to it.
PoR is dear to me, is the video game I've played most times in my life and will continue to play, and is one of the few games I grew up with that I can still play without that lame ass adult feeling of "this doesn't feel like it used to". my feelings on lots of games have shifted over the years, but PoR has only gotten stronger as I got older! so I'd like to try to be here when it comes out and it gets that new wave of discussion and content.
and let's be real, a LOT of ppl are probably gonna wanna try this game bc the legendary Ike is in it LMAO. which, like, fair, but it just means I do expect more attention on it than what the GBA crew got.
anyway, that's all to say I'll maybe be around again when PoR drops, but my hobby schedule is quite bloated as is. I'm gonna guess eventually we'll get RD too, since if they're starting with the GC on the membership, they'll probably eventually get to the Wii. if that happens, I'll try to be here for it again!
I'm thinking of making a guide or smth... for PoR... for new folks... or smth... tho... bc PoR my lovely beloved...
