I’m just saying that some of the conflicts in BvS might’ve been avoided if I’d been allowed to keep Lex in a terrarium with proper temperature control and enrichment.

Started my DCEU rewatch by watching Man of Steel with @theothersideshowmel!
God, I love that movie so much. It doesn’t get old.
I need to get back on my DCEU rewatch. I’m currently paused partway through Suicide Squad, but here’re some new things I noticed when I rewatched BvS a bit ago. (I always find new things.)
Fancy, old-timey Dr. Pepper sign on a building during the Black Zero event. (Not important to the story at all, I just love Dr. Pepper and old-timey advertisements.)
The angel in the painting in Bruce’s “Man-Bat” nightmare is wearing Superman colors.
Bruce’s underground fight frequenting. I’d recently purchased the Time Out Shortlist tie-in for Gotham and Metropolis, which interestingly includes a mention of a rumored fight club called Sionis Below. And now I can only imagine Bruce running into his old private school playmate Roman at his totally-not-a-secret-amateur-MMA-fighting-ring and am gutted we’ll never see it.
Every single person in the DCEU's Smallville knows Superman is that weird Kent boy and just keeps it to themselves out of respect and gratitude, and you cannot convince me otherwise.
THE ZOD MESSAGE IS MY FAVORITE PART. SO SPOOKY.
This movie continues to be perfect. There’s not a thing I can complain about. It just is Superman to me.
I know I always say this, but the Krypton scenes in Man of Steel are fucking gorgeous.
I’d love an entire movie or series of this.
Laundry's done. Hair's washed. Pets are fed, medicated, and bathroomed. Doors are locked, lights are on. Midnight snack is acquired.
Time to start my DCEU rewatch.
And, of course, no viewing of Man of Steel can be undertaken without my dearest cinema buddy, Superbear.
