At this point it is pretty clear Todd Mcfarlane is just doing whatever the hell he wants with the DC Licence. But he sure does like Batman! Like these exclusive-ish Batman Beyond/DC Future figures that have been spread out over the year. *Except Aussie retailer Popcultcha has the set and individual figs in stock now* Masked Batman (Terry McGinnis) Batwoman(Elainna Grayson) Shriek and Blight all come with pieces to make a big crazy killer Cyborg Batman/Joker thing from the storyline Future's End. Is it in continuity anymore? I dunno. Who cares? Mcfarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman Beyond! (Beyonds?) Todd Mcfarlane likes to make variants of his figures but he also wants you to get some bang for your buck. Case in point the Batman Beyond figure. (Figures?) Version one is based on the Future's End comic and has a featureless mask, batarangs reminiscent of the DCAU,a piece of the Joker/Batman/Omac robot thingy and is part of Batman Beyond theme build a figure wave. Version two has the face with a nose and lips like the cartoon, a flight stand, rocket boot effects and is a standalone release. Which one should you get?
