1. What is your most favorite story that you've written, and why?
2. What is your most favorite story that you've collaborated on/co-wrote with another person, and why?
3. What story of yours do you feel is your least favorite, and why?
Sorry for the delay @dchelyst I was getting the wee one to bed and Mister wanted to watch a movie. (Which I would not recommend. It was weird.)
Let's see...
Choosing a favorite might be tough... but I feel like right now it would be How Does Your Garden Grow? It's a different descriptive style than I've tried in the past and I'm really enjoying it. I think too, this is the first time I've attempted a slowish burn and I'm not utterly failing at it? So I'm proud of that.
2. I haven't really collaborated on writing anything, I've done art/writing collabs and they have all been delightful. Like Shards of the Shikon (that wild real TV/soap opera mass tumblr collab) might be the closest to a writing collab. I had been chit chatting with Hopidoodle about an AU, but it's been on the back burner.
3. My least favorite? Hmmmm... I think, probably Trains Passing in the Night. 😅 It's just not very representative of my writing now (which, fair, it's been nearly 20 years) but its themes are also pretty brittle. I was young, newly away from home, and had no real life experience when it came to much of anything. But I keep it up because that's where I started, and even if I wince to look at it now, I don't want to dismiss it.
I love your Inukag relic comic! Your drawing style was so good at 16 too!
Aww thank you for your lovely message! I honestly couldn't believe it when I found it earlier this week!
Tbh I have a lot of love for younger me making this, even despite the cringe haha! 🤣❤ But I can also see how much my drawing skills changed (even throughout this comic somehow too!?) So I can safely say Manga/Anime influenced me massively in getting better at drawing!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it too, thank you so much! 🥰
Hi! Just wanted to say that I love your posts, especially the ones when you take a deep dive into aspects of the story/manga/anime of Inuyasha ❤️🤍
Thank you so much!! I'm glad you enjoy them! 🥺💕
@dchelyst
Hey, Inuyasha, what's the last thing you did with Shippo? Was it fun or did y'all get in trouble for it?
"Last time I saw Shippou was when he went to the Kitsune school. The last thing I did was threaten to glue him to Sesshoumaru's tail if he dared try to include me in his final exam again!"
