Day 77 Lena Challenge

Doodling my main characters for DCO, the shadow knight Sir Reginald and the cursed Princess Amelia. Rarely in the story do they actually get to dress up like a princess and like a knight, so it's mostly just indulgent for me to draw them like their archetypes.

I love your artwork! The art you did for inktober was especially adorable. You mentioned you're writing a story called Divinity:crown origin. What's it about?

Thank you ^^ Still working on my pitch! But it takes place in the world of Zayel, a realm crafted by the supreme being known as the Allsire who split himself into 12 known Gods in order to run the universe. The legend goes that the future King of the mortal planes impressed the Allsire so much, he gifted the mortals a piece of the Gods known as Divinity. Thanks to the man now known as King Alexander, every single mortal born in Zayel comes into this world with the capacity to control an element of the Divine. This story in particular focuses on the cursed young Princess Amelia of Castle Alexandria and her shadow knight Sir Reginald Gunst who are both bound by fate together to fight against the odds.

It's a fantasy adventure about growing up, facing your demons, and uncovering the light in the midst of war, tragedy and despair. Princess Amelia was born with a cursed Divinity and thus was shut away from the world for years by her family in order to protect her. Sir Reginald Gunst was born into a family that sacrifices themselves as a lifelong secret mission in order to protect the royal family. These two come together a day before her official coronation and just as a devastating attack hits the castle. They must escape and gather allies to fight against the opposing nation The Belrhin Empire that seeks to absorb her kingdom, she must fulfill the long ago prophecy left by King Alexander himself that as long as his blood thrives, the Kingdom will not fall. These two will go on a journey and meet all sorts of people in Zayel, discovering a beautiful and wondrous world despite the looming danger, and finding there is more to life than what fate set out before you.

It is a story bouncing around in my brain for years that I'm slowly putting together in my off-time. Feel free to ask any more questions as that helps with fleshing out my writing 😤✌️

SURVEY 1 -  Where are you from and how come you have ended up in Virginia?

The man in charge of my trust wanted me here. Yeah, I got a free ride to attend my dream school, but a free ride doesn’t cover living expenses it just covers school. If I wanted money to burn, I could either go to my father’s alma mater or pick up a 9 to 5. Figured I’d have an easier go at it going with the former, you know?

SURVEY 4 - Where do you see yourself after college?

Forget after college. Come April 2020 I plan to be in Vegas being named first for the draft. After that, I expect a ring, a couple rings and we’ll see where I end up after that.
