My favorite place to work: Mouse Gear because it was my home and they had the best people or Tower of Terror because there was always someone who didn't want to go on the ride and would talk to me or Rock n' Roller Coaster because I got to listen to Aerosmith all day.

My favorite park to work: Hollywood Studios because it's my favorite themed park and walking out when no one was there but the lights were still on was cool.

My favorite costume: Darth's Mall because who doesn't love to be a blueberry with a tie.

My least favorite place to work: Legends of Hollywood because no one is buying mugs and kitchen ware at 10am.

My least favorite costume: Pin Central because khaki pants are annoying or Star Tours because it down poured when I was going on break and the top is super water absorbent...seriously the shirt didn't dry till the next day.

A little bit of history...

Once upon a time

There was a girl known by most as India, but more intimately as Dida,

who dreamed of being the real life Alice in Wonderland. She wanted nothing more in life than to live in Fantasyland, have adventures, and make magic. AND SHE DID JUST THAT!

God sent her down the rabbit hole by way of the Disney College Program in Spring of 2011.

She got a job as a Storyteller at Storybook Land Canal in Fantasyland in Disneyland. It was the greatest job in the world! She knew she was where she belonged.

She made some amazing and life long friends in three beautiful princesses named Princess Paige, Princess Wendy-Claudia, and Princess Jayne. They even went to a magical ball together!

But sadly, some adventures have to get put on hold and India had to move home from her magical Land. It ended up being a good thing, though! She met some more unforgettable people! She gained a sister and a few very close and loving friends.

India was in My Fair Lady, costumed Sweeney Todd, visited Fantasyland for a day, and got to be a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast at the best college she'd even seen! She had many lovely adventures, but all the while knew that she belonged back in her magical Land.

THEN A MIRACLE HAPPENED!

India applied to the Disney College Program again for Spring of 2013. The wait process seemed to take ages. There were new aspects of the interview process and things had drastically changed in the place she knew so well. She started to lose hope as she waited and waited to hear if she got in. She turned 21 during the wait!

Her amazing friends and family threw her a surprise Mad Tea Party on campus at the college she loved so well. They truly are magical friends.

The wait was agonizing.

But after 23 days....

SHE GOT IT!!

She will be going back to her magical Land in January for Disney College Program Spring 2013 for ATTRACTIONS!!! 

She has a lot of work to do to get there such as raise money to pay off her fees, pack up all her apartment thing, finish the musical, work a little in the Disney Store at her nearby mall, and enjoy every moment she has left with her amazing friends and family. 

She couldn't be happier to be back where she belongs and starting a whole new adventure at the beginning of a whole new year.

I will be doing the Spring Advantage College Program

I arrive on the 21st! I might have another person with me as my roommate. 

1 or 2 bedroom apartment. Either Chatham or Patterson. I might be taking my car. I am 21 so either wellness-or non-wellness apartments, I don't care either way.

It feels a little unreal to me still that I will be going to Disney world. I guess it hasn't exactly hit me yet even though my fees have been paid and the additional info has be acquired. I'm still working on my roommate survey but I can blame my slowness on that on work and homework but I will say that if there are any other Spring Advantage acceptees still in search for some roomies I am looking for at least two more who want to stay in Chatham or Patterson and are arriving on Jan 7th(my friend has yet to hear back but her and I will room together) I'm a nice person, promise! :) Anyways, for those who have also been accepted congrats! And for those who are still waiting to interview/hear back- my ask is open for questions-I'm no expert but going through the process at least once I can provide some advice to help calm those nerves :) And a huge thanks to everyone on the DCP tag! You've all been so supportive and I can't wait to meet you all <33 Good luck to everyone and remember to wish on that star ;)

My phone interview is in about 7 hours and I'm still nervous but also excited now that the day has finally arrived... To keep myself busy and distracted till then I'm cleaning my room, getting laundry done and exercising and My mom is awesome-she is taking me out to run errands with her now to keep me from staying home alone and spazzing out until my interview....thank you mom for looking out for me! ;)

BY MIRACULOUS WONDERS ABOVE!!

I finally got my phone interview slot. Monday night at 7pm.....or 4pm.....because apparently the website has the flu?

Anyway I'm praying like crazy for this interview and for my friends Connery, Kasie, and Brittany as well. I gotta say it would be one ridiculously bombtastic amazing and fabulous program run if we all got in. We would Theater Kid that town UP!!
