Tomorrow's Wind | Tony & Janika
Janika was bored. She had gotten home from a night shift several hours ago, and while she knew she should be taking a nap she also knew she wouldn’t be able to sleep. She had always had trouble sleeping during the day, though this one already looked like it was drawing to a close due to the clouds that had been rolling in all afternoon. Janika loved the rain. It was calming, and it made an afternoon perfect to read or watch a movie.
So the cloudy afternoon found her sitting on the front steps of the house, book in hand. The breeze was blowing softly and it felt good on her skin and in her hair. She looked up at the cloudy sky, unable to really concentrate on her book. She wanted to do something else, but found herself in that frustrating place of wanting to do something but not knowing what.

Alison: Who in God's name was in my car?!
Billie: Not me. What's up?
Alison: There is a...thing in here
Alison & Tony || Street Smarts of Suburbia - [Closed RP]
Alison wrung her hands, looking nervously back and forth between her front door and the moving van. She ran her hand through her hair in frustration as two men passed, handling her coffee table with less than gentle care. She pressed her hand into the side of her face, wincing at a crash she heard from somewhere in the house.
No. No no nonono, she shouldn't be here for this. It was cause for disaster. Or murder. Donnie could handle it. Right? Maybe?
It didn't matter. She needed to get away and she had errands to run. She pulled the piece of paper out of her pocket, squinting to read Sarah's scrawling handwriting. This is what the punk had shoved at her when she had asked for a local gun dealer, along with an eye roll and a strange smirk. She didn't know if she should be worried about what low-life Sarah was directing her to or not. They didn't know each other well enough to necessarily...dislike each other yet, did they?
She shrugged, and after another thud from her front door, she clenched her jaw and spun on her heels, heading in the right direction. It was...quite perfectly only a few blocks away. She walked up the stairs to the new-looking front door, almost as new as hers, and knocked a few times.
Better to be direct about it, she supposed.
